|2-Seat Paraglider License|
|Bettina Mattia has been paragliding since 1989 and obtained her passenger flight licence in 1992, as one of the first women to do so. Licensed by the Swiss Hanggliding & Paragliding Association (SHPA), she has been undertaking paraglider passenger flights regularly eversince, taking young and old aloft (the youngest was 2½, the oldest 86) - and enjoying every minute of every flight. She ran a paragliding and hang-gliding school in the flyers paradise of Fiesch for 6 years.|
When she can’t get up in the air, Bettina turns her attention to flights of the imagination and devotes herself to reading and writing – with a particular preference for poetic texts. She loves outdoor sports like hang-gliding, skiing, mountain-biking or hiking in her beloved mountains. With her enthusiasm for exotic countries, she is very glad to have seen many of the world’s beautiful spots when she was still a very young woman, and, as a particular thrill, to have even had the opportunity to make professional helicopterflights to places like the island of La Réunion in the Indian Ocean or Turkey.
